after he moved up 13 spots and is knocking on the door of being that Top 20 overall prospect. We first watched Mathis on film last fall and he showed flashes of a lot of things that we like from a defensive lineman. Then we got a chance to watch Mathis in person at our Showcase event in Broken Arrow last month and everything we saw on film translated to watching him go to work in person. Mathis is an absolute menace on the line of scrimmage. He’s definitely a name to keep an eye on in this class. It will be interesting to follow his game this fall as Enid has been approved to play as an independent team in 2026 and 2027. No matter the competition, Mathis still finds a way to stand out and absolutely wreck shop.
