Vestermark completed 17 of 24 passes for 286 yards with three touchdowns and ran for 76 yards with a score in Aliso Niguel’s 48-35 win over El Toro.

He extended plays with his legs and the Wolverines do not win that game without Vestermark.

Vestermark completed 66 percent of his passes for 154 yards per game with 9 touchdowns and ran for three.

He has improved a lot as an athlete since I first saw him at a Prep Redzone Showcase two years ago. Vestermark has a funky delivery and does a good job keeping his eyes on the secondary while under pressure. With their top running back graduating and all of their offensive lineman graduating, I expect Vestermark to get many more pass attempts as a senior.

Vestermark is a good athlete who had a solid season in his first year as the varsity starter.

He showed an ability to pick up chunks of yardage scrambling and had a few big games on designed quarterback runs. Vestermark has a funky throwing motion, but has a quick release and his arm strength has improved greatly since I first saw him. He sometimes goes for the home run ball a little too much instead of taking the easy yards, but the game definitely slowed down for him this season.
