About Carson
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is built on strong footwork and patient hands, allowing me to stay composed and make smart plays. I focus on reading the game, anticipating opponents’ moves, and staying disciplined under pressure, which helps me contribute consistently to my team’s success.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am great mentally, always staying composed throughout games, which helps me make smart decisions under pressure. Personally, I’m a funny and outgoing person who is fun to be around, and I enjoy bringing positive energy to my team and those around me. I also take pride in being dependable and supportive, both on and off the field.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am getting involved in a club called Lifeteam, where we pray together and help organize school events. Being part of this club allows me to give back to my school community, develop leadership skills, and connect with others who share similar values. It also helps me grow personally by encouraging teamwork, responsibility, and a sense of service.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Outside of football, I’ve grown through leadership roles, teamwork, and community service. These experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively, support others, and take responsibility, which I believe are just as important in life as they are on the field.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
A major challenge I faced was having to beat out tough competition to earn playing time as a freshman. It pushed me to work harder, stay disciplined, and prove that I belonged on the field. That experience taught me the value of preparation, resilience, and mental toughness, and it showed me that success comes from consistently putting in the effort even when the odds are against you.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that will develop me as a player on the field and as a student and person off the field. I want a program that challenges me to improve my skills, pushes me to reach my full potential, and provides opportunities to grow academically, socially, and personally. I’m excited to be part of a team and a community that values hard work, character, and continuous growth.
