About Carlton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im a versatile, smart, instinctive, and physical Safety who plays fast and disciplined with great coverage and tackling skills. I read plays quick, break on routes quick, close space confidently, and make great tackles. I’m aggressive when coming downhill while still making plays in coverage. I take pride in being a reliable leader as the last line of defense and communicating across the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ma very focused athlete once I put my mind to something I will finish, I’m mentally strong so I don’t let any of the noise change how I play. I believe in myself and believe I can get through any challenge because I am that confident in the work I have and continue to put in. I try to never get to comfortable because nothing is given, everything is earned. Giving me my relentless work ethic.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in fine arts programs at multiple churches.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed skills and qualities like my ability to lead by example, my work ethic is very strong, and I’m very coachable

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges with injuries that resulted in surgery but bounced back after even stronger and better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play at the division 1 level, at a college that has a team with a great defense and great discipline.
