Leonard Jr. is a bruising runner, who has nifty, quick feet with the ability to change directions quickly. He uses his stout, compact build to break tackles at the second level. At 6-foot 220 pounds, Carlos runs with excellent pad level and he has powerful lower half that contributes to his strong leg drive. Leonard Jr. has seen significant playing time at both tight end and linebacker for Little Elm. When lines up at tight end, he runs sharp routes and he has strong reliable hands that he uses to be a sure handed target. After watching some cut ups of his spring film, it appears he is to be poised to be the featured back in the Little Elm offense. He could have a break out season, which should attract college programs in search of a talented runner.
