Cannon Pigg Cannon Pigg 6'4" | 245 lbs | TE Mars Hill Bible | 2025 State AL is a really talented tight end who has consistently been a reliable target and blocker in Mars Hill Bible’s offense the last few seasons. Pigg is really well-rounded TE who has great size and plays with a lot of speed and toughness. In the run game, Pigg is an excellent blocker who explodes off the snap and opens lanes for the ball carrier at the line of scrimmage and upfield. As a pass catcher, Pigg uses his size and physicality to bully smaller defensive backs. Frequently on tape, he shows his ability to high-point the ball and come away with impressive catches- it doesn’t matter how covered he is, he finds a way to come down with the pass and thrives after the catch as well. Pigg has been a reliable playmaker for Mars Hill Bible since his freshman year and has done more of the same this fall- he’s a tough-to-guard TE who makes his impact felt every week, which is why plenty of schools have sent offers his way. Just this last week, however, Pigg picked up an offer from Wake Forest! With how well he’s played this season, he should definitely see more attention heading his way soon, he’s a talented prospect who’s having a heck of a senior year!

Pigg carries his 6’4 245 frame very well and is still relatively thin in his limbs. His blocking ability is what creates the most intrigue around his game. He looks to enjoy blocking, violently making contact with defenders and finishing blocks in the dirt. He does a good job of striking and lifting through the chest of defenders as well. He is also instinctual enough to handle multiple defenders on one play. As a receiver, he is a natural mismatch that can play above the rim. When he adds more weight, he will be able to shield the catch point from DBs and be tough to handle in the red zone. Pigg could eventually fill out to be 260 plus while still maintaining some athleticism, making him an option to play in-line on every snap and slip into space to make plays as a receiver. Pigg added several D1 and FBS offers this spring.
