It’s tough to find potential next level cover corners, especially one’s with athleticism, size and speed but Wilson fits the bill and someone still coming into his own as a football player. It’s been a breakout junior season for this East Tennessee defender that appears to be taking the process seriously because you can see vast improvement on film compared to his sophomore season. Standing about 6’0 180 pounds, Wilson has the physical size wanted within a college secondary. He is also a good athlete that runs, flips his hips well while showing the recovery speed to stay on path or close on the ball. Wilson is also a physical tackler that displays upside in run support. He has room to get bigger and stronger as well. There is a lot to like about the Blue Raiders defensive back, especially his potential to handle the island in college. The college interest has yet to expand for Wilson but I think that changes in the near future where he should emerge as one of the top cover corner prospects coming out of the TN2028 class.
