About Campbell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Highly dependable and consistent performer. Shows strong open-field tackling ability and good coverage skills. On offense, demonstrates versatility by contributing as a passer, receiver, blocker, and ball carrier.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Growing up in a military family, I have moved quite a few times. Having to adjust to new environments throughout my elementary and middle school years has helped me become very resilient. You never like to make mistakes, throw interceptions, but when those things happen I immediately focus on the next play. I do not allow those things to negatively effect how I play the rest of the game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Involved with local American Legion as a volunteer.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Growing up in IN, NY, MO, and OK, I have built a personality through sports that my teammates seem to gravitate to. My many experiences has allowed me the opportunity to become a leader on most of the teams I have played on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have played football, basketball, and baseball in IN, NY, and OK. Having to come into teams coached by dads and have to prove myself all over every two years has been a challenge. Especially as a QB, most coaches want their kid to be QB so I had to work harder and prove that I was much better than some kids to earn that position on new teams.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am currently wide open to any opportunity.

Williams is a 3-sport varsity athlete who has success on the football field, basketball court, and baseball diamond. He seems well-coached and has a good head on his shoulders on the field. He’s not overly aggressive and plays the ball well in the air. He’s got decent range and can wrap up solo in the open field. He got some work on offense last season, but was a full-time starter defensively and got better as the year went on. His 40 tackles were a good sign of things to come.
