Scroggins Makes Game-Changing Impact on Defense in Week 1
While many expected Scroggins to make his mark at wide receiver in Week 1, it was his dominance on the defensive side of the ball that stole the show. Lining up off the edge, Scroggins used his size, length, and athleticism to wreak havoc in the backfield and completely alter the momentum of the game.
In one standout performance, he recorded an interception, a sack, and a forced fumble, demonstrating his versatility and playmaking instincts at multiple levels of the defense. His closing speed off the edge forced quarterbacks to make rushed decisions, while his physicality at the point of attack allowed him to shed blocks and create turnovers.
Scroggins’ ability to impact the game in all phases makes him a unique two-way talent, but his Week 1 performance highlighted just how dangerous he can be as a pass rusher. If he continues to build on this defensive production, expect his recruiting profile to continue to rise quickly.

Cameron showed out at the NP Showcase displaying great overall athleticism and nice size. He measured in at 6’4″+ 189lbs with a 9’1 1/2″ SBJ. He looks the part with his length and a frame that will fill out with good muscle. With a long smooth stride, Cameron can easily get over top the defense and go get the ball. An athletic vertical big X receiver who plucks the ball out of the air, he has traits that fit a specific role every team needs. During 1v1’s Cameron displayed fluid movements, strong hands, nice leaping ability, and the ability to go and make the tough catch. His size/athletic combo skill set will certainly intrigue schools. Just recently picking up a few D2 offers, Cameron is a prospect on the rise and can see his recruiting take off this summer camp season.

is a big-bodied outside receiver with impressive size at 6-5, 190 pounds. His physical mindset sets him apart, particularly as a run blocker. He is consistently willing to do the dirty work, routinely engaging defenders in stalk blocks and sustaining them 10–12 yards downfield. That kind of effort speaks volumes about his team-first mentality and toughness. His frame allows him to shield defenders effectively on contested catches. Scroggins knows how to use body positioning to secure the ball against tight press coverage. His size and physicality make him a natural red-zone threat. Scroggins has the potential to be a matchup nightmare against smaller corners. His film’s limited number of passing targets might hurt recruiting-wise. That leads to a few question marks about his complete receiving skill set. More film showing route diversity, the ability to separate, and getting yards after the catch would help with his recruitment.
