About Cameron
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play with an aggressive, competitive, and passionate mindset. I attack every snap with physicality and intensity, using controlled aggression to win matchups at the line of scrimmage. My competitive drive pushes me to finish every play through the whistle, and my passion fuels relentless effort and constant improvement.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is built on commitment, discipline, and continuous improvement. I lead by example through my work ethic, accountability, and willingness to put the team first. I enjoy encouraging my teammates, bringing positive energy, and motivating those around me to be their best. I believe great leadership is earned through consistency, trust, and the way you show up every day
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I received the Champion of Youth Award for my work with PUNT, a nonprofit supporting families affected by pediatric cancer. Since 5th grade, I have helped raise thousands of dollars and stayed involved. I also helped coordinate the “Go Gold for September” for childhood cancer awareness. Through this work, I was recognized in PUNT’s Athletes Give Back program.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My work with PUNT has strengthened my teamwork by bringing people together for a shared goal on and off the field. As team captain, I learned to lead by example and motivate my teammates. I’ve volunteered at multiple PUNT events and been interviewed by local media to help spread awareness. This experience has taught me leadership, responsibility, and the importance of giving back through sports.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I’ve dealt with ongoing medical challenges that require treatment every other month, which has sometimes made balancing school, sports, and recovery difficult. Despite this, I’ve stayed committed to my team and responsibilities without losing focus on my goals. The experience has taught me resilience, discipline, and how to perform through adversity.
What type of college are you looking for?
My ideal college would value leadership and accountability, where captains and hard workers set the standard. Coaches would care about character, work ethic, and resilience just as much as athletic ability, creating an environment that pushes players to grow on and off the field.Academically, it would be a school that supports student-athletes and helps them balance football with their education.
