Casey is a prospect that we saw play his first high school game in person and from the time he came out for warm ups he jumped out at 6’3″ 230 pounds with a great frame and mean streak to his game.  As a freshman on varsity he had 78 tackles, 8 sacks, and 11 TFLs.  Great use of his hands getting off blocks and to the quarterback.  Powerful edge rusher that throws tackles along with bend able to bend the edge with his speed.  Plays with a high-motor and through the ball.  Also effective sliding inside at defensive tackle with his quickness and strength.  Sheds tackles tremendously well for a young player.  Runs well being able to pursue plays outside of his area.  Disciplined in the run game getting off blocks and making the stop.  One of the premier players in the class early on.

His frame and body type show dedication to the weight room at a young age. The paws are massive on this pup, signaling excellent growth potential. In the one on one combine setting, Casey wins with raw athletic ability and twitch, creating a high level of disruption. Assuming continued growth and development, this one has a massive ceiling. Certainly one to have on all the watch lists.
