About Camden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a tall, strong-armed QB who works best as a pro-style pocket passer operating mostly out of the shotgun formation. I feel I have a high football IQ with a command of pre-snap reads, defensive recognition, and coverage id. I am comfortable going through my reads and delivering the ball on time with accuracy at all levels of the field. I prefer a rhythm passing game utilizing quick drops.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel I am a smart, easy-going QB who is friendly, approachable, and well-respected by my teammates and coaches. I strive to put others first and value team success over my own personal recognition. I try to lead with confidence and humility while creating a positive culture. I believe I am highly coachable and stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Hanover Community Support Services Youth Council, Jr. Beta Club, Varsity Club-Officer, Junior Class Council-Fundraising Chair, Positive Athlete Male Athlete of the Month-November, Teacher Nominated Character Awards

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned the importance of preparation, discipline, and coachability, both on and off the field. Working closely with coaches has helped me improve my football IQ, decision-making, and ability to adjust quickly. I also value giving back through community involvement and service, understanding the responsibility that comes with being a student-athlete and a role model.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Sophomore football season (2024) on the tenth play of the first Varsity scrimmage, a defensive lineman landed on me and broke my left collarbone (non-throwing) and I had to have surgery before the season even started.

Poised in the pocket and looks to have confidence in his ability. Where there is not much for us to go on in this year’s update, we look forward to his return this fall, and he is someone to watch as a possible stock riser in next year’s update. In his limited time in 2024, he completed 30 of 50 passes, for 366 yards, and 2 TDs.
