is now committed to West Virginia after flipping from Coastal Carolina, but is still getting overlooked on the state and national level.
He is a well-built guard with good size that wins with his anchor and grip strength, stopping defensive lineman in their tracks and keeping rushers away from his quarterback.
As he takes in college coaching and improves his hand placement on his initial punch, that grip strength will become evident as the offensive line plays as a tight unit at the next level, which should also allow for him to work up toward the second level which he has shown the ability to do at the prep level.
At the end of the day, Goforth is a rock-solid guard that will be looking to bring physicality to a West Virginia offensive line unit, something that will always be valuable.
