About Camden
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Camden is a defensive tackle who stands out for his ability to work through congestion and still find a way into the backfield, even when he’s facing double teams. On film, one of the most noticeable traits is how he keeps his feet and balance when two blockers try to neutralize him—he doesn’t get stuck in contact, he works through it.
What he does well starts with his leverage and strength at the point of attack. Camden plays with a low base, which allows him to absorb contact and still stay upright and active. When he gets doubled, he uses strong hands and quick resets to split the gap or bounce off one blocker and redirect into the play. That ability to “stay alive” in traffic is what allows him to still make tackles or pressure the backfield even when the protection is focused on him.
He also shows good awareness—he doesn’t just push blindly into blocks, he reads movement and looks for weak points in the double team. Once he sees a crease, he accelerates through it and closes space quickly. In the run game, he’s reliable at holding ground, and in pass situations he has enough burst to collapse the pocket when he slips free. Beason holds offers from UTEP and Sacramento State.

Beason is a true interior anchor, your classic 3–4 nose guard with power and control. He consistently takes on double teams, maintains leverage, and controls the line of scrimmage with a powerful lower half. What separates him is his lateral movement and surprisingly nimble feet for a 300-plus-pound lineman.
Offers from UTEP and Sacramento State validate his effectiveness in the middle.
Outlook: Scheme-ready nose who can immediately anchor a defensive front.
