Ragland still needs to add some weight to be college-ready at tackle, but his wingspan is elite and accordingly, once he’s latched, it’s almost impossible for defensive linemen to get off his blocks. He flashes a nasty streak, but can sometimes get a bit passive at left tackle, probably because he plays both ways for Vance County and his tackle profile would probably improve a bit with fewer defensive snaps. He’s disruptive off the edge though, so he’ll likely continue to play there as well. It’s not a bad backup plan, should he choose to keep his weight down.
