Massey is an extremely productive, all-state performer at LB. He is well-covered by our scouts here in AL, but this is personally my first look at him. While still developing, there is a lot to like here. He is an intriguing raw athlete with plenty of length and space to get bigger. He flashes impressive closing speed when he has a path unblocked, and fights hard against blockers at the point. As a tackler, he uses his length to fully wrap the ball carrier and trap him. If I were a small school recruiting the area, I’d keep my fingers crossed that a D1 doesn’t get involved late, because I think this kid can be a solid college LB with some seasoning.
