The first linebacker on our small school list that has taken a sound step ahead from last season has been Caleb Heuertz Caleb Heuertz 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Elk Point-Jefferson | 2027 State SD of 11B powerhouse Elk Point-Jefferson. “Find the man, meet the man” is a good way to describe Caleb in the backfield as he’s gotten so much quicker with identifying with his vision and meeting the ball carrier with instinct and ideal position angles in the backfield. Even the range I have seen a significant different from Caleb. He’s add 2 inchs and 10 pounds and to me looks quicker with that frame than in his sophomore season. I’ll say it, he’s going to be a stockriser in this class
