A player of a somewhat similar body type, Caleb Christensen Caleb Christensen 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB Nodaway Valley | 2027 State IA possesses some similar traits to that of Beswick, but he plays a level down in the defense, and he has about 25 pounds on him, making him a mean middle linebacker.

With excellent ball-pursuit that can put him in the lap of any ball-carrier within a few seconds of the ball being snapped, Christensen’s height allows him to see over the offensive line and into the backfield, and his larger size gives him the ability to bring down just about any ball-carrier once he gets his hands on him.

Christensen’s D2 offers include Missouri Western, Northwest Missouri State, Wayne State and Minnesota State-Mankato. He also holds a Division I offer from Drake.

He was kind enough to provide a highlight video from 2025. Christensen is a menace to opposing offenses when lining up at middle linebacker for the Wolverines. He diagnoses plays pre and post snap, allowing him to get downhill in a hurry. He’s explosive with a burst and straight-speed, while also moving well laterally. Christensen’s long arms are an asset when securing a tackle or closing windows in pass coverage. It’s a projectable frame capable of adding good weight and strength, proving him a sizable ceiling. His talents led to 65.5 total tackles last season. Fifty of the stops were solo. He added 10.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks. Christensen caught 15 balls for 203 yards and two touchdowns.

The Wolverines’ prospect racked up an impressive 51.5 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. My best way to describe Caleb’s game is that it’s calculated chaos because he does a great job reading and analyzing what he sees from the offense before pouncing. He has a quick trigger with an explosive first step that can send him flying downhill to make plays, while also taking smart pursuit angles, and is effective at making the stop once he gets to his spot. Solid size at 6’3”, 200 pounds, with room to continue filling out his frame.
