Senior quarterback Cale Duncan Cale Duncan 6'2" | QB Bethel | 2025 OK is one of two guys that will be battling for playing time at the position this season. Last year, Duncan was categorized as a “gunslinger” and we’re looking forward to seeing his growth as a pure passer coming into this year. As a junior, Duncan would complete around 50 percent of his passes and he finished with nearly 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns. If Duncan can take another step forward in his abilities as a quarterback, he’s going to be in a really good position. As of right now, he’ll be splitting reps with another quarterback.

Bethel has two returning quarterbacks this season and as Tapley was injured, it was 2025 QB Cale Duncan Cale Duncan 6'2" | QB Bethel | 2025 OK who filled in and really took command of the Bethel offense in 2022. Now, as mentioned, Bethel is going to be used as an overall athlete in a variety of ways and that opens the door for Duncan to be the full time starter for the Wildcats heading into this season. Duncan would throw for just over 500 yards and five touchdowns but we anticipate those numbers to go up this fall. First off, he has had a full offseason to know that this is his offense and he’s going to have some legitimate weapons around him. As Bethel looks to find a solid running game, we think that Duncan and the Bethel passing game should be able to pick up the slack offensively.
