I’m quite excited for Caiden’s junior season. He’s in a very QB-friendly offense, has a big arm, and the size to be a legit prospect. The lefty QB has a good number of highlights, both inside and outside the pocket. In particular, the plays at 0:29 and 0:36 showcase excellent deep balls.

He isn’t a bad athlete, either. Caiden has the ability to evade the pocket and earn good yardage on the ground. Caiden doesn’t have elite speed, but he is deceptively elusive. Caiden absolutely has upside as a pro-style or dual-threat QB in college. Of course, this offseason is going to be critical for Caiden. Polish the IQ, hit the weight room, get those practice reps, and Caiden should be a phenomenal (presumably) QB1 next season.

Caiden Hodge Caiden Hodge 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Davison | 2028 State MI was able to run the Davison offense well as a freshman. Watching his tape, Caiden was obvious upside but it’s still apparent that he’s a freshman QB with a lot of room to grow.

His first two highlights show good, accurate deep balls. I like the accuracy, but he still gives the ball a tad too much arc, and the velocity isn’t there yet. Much of his tape also shows Caiden rolling out and delivering accurate throws on the run- a staple of the Davison offense. Finally, I have to draw attention to the highlight at 0:19. Amazing job at shedding those arm tackles and completing that pass.

Love the foundation. Caiden could start by the 2026 season.
