has been on my radar for a while now and is off to a strong start to his senior year. He played a key role at outside linebacker in Fern Creek’s shutout win over Seneca. Fannin showed the ability to read the play quickly then use his speed to get to the ball carrier before they could get going. Once he got to the ball carrier, he showed the ability to explode through contact with a ton of physicality. He finished the game with 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble which he returned himself for a touchdown. Fannin also showed the ability to rush the passer, finishing the game with 1.5 sacks. Cage doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should have their eyes on this season.

is a player who caught my attention when breaking down sophomore year film. Fannin lines up mainly at outside linebacker where he does a great job of defending the run. He reads the play quickly and is able to use his speed to flow to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle. Cage finished last season with 49 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in 10 games. He also finished his sophomore year with an interception which he returned for a touchdown and half a sack. Fannin doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on who has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

, a linebacker at Fern Creek High School. What impresses me about Fannin is his ability to read the offense like a book, proving he can quickly get off the ground and pick off the quarterback. I also like how Fannin can breach the pocket and consistently shut down the running game with his strength and commanding tackling ability.

is another linebacker in this class that caught my attention this past season. Fannin lines up mainly at outside linebacker but has also shown the ability to play inside the box when asked to. He is very impressive against the run, showing the ability to read his keys and get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make tackles in the open field. Fannin finished this past season with 49 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in 10 games. He also showed the ability to make plays against the pass, both in coverage and as a rusher, finishing the season with one interception which he returned for a touchdown and 0.5 sacks. Cage doesn’t currently hold any offers but is definitely a player that college coaches should keep an eye on over the next couple seasons.
