Overview: Thomas is a disruptive defensive tackle who lines up all over the line and a sturdy offensive tackle. Stacked over the guard when he’s two-gapping, Thomas controls his man and gets where he wants to go. He does a good job using his hands to dislodge himself from blockers. But when he’s shading, he either clogs his gap or gets into the backfield field to disrupt the play. On the offensive end, Thomas uses those hands to punch d-linemen before getting upfield to defenders in the back seven. The two-way lineman has potential on either side of the ball, as a defensive tackle in a single-gap scheme or an offensive guard in a man blocking scheme.
