When apexing between a split receiver and the offensive line, Gabriele can, impressively, play the B gap from space. After seeing him nearly jump off of the field, I also suspect that he is more athletic than I might have initially surmised. In a similar vein, he has proven capable of an excellent get off and pass rushes with a plan. As a run defender, he gets his hands on the man in front of him and plays to his pressure keys. Gun to my head, I cannot decide whether Gabriele is a better run defender or pass rusher.
