Another standout quarterback in the 14U group that showed us some good things on Sunday was the Tennessee Vultures’ QB Cade Boldin. The 2030 passer did a nice job during his reps as they split time with two quarterbacks and has a good early frame to build on at the high school level. His early size allowed him to handle the weather conditions relatively well and put more velocity on his passes to cut through the wind and cold.

The Humphreys County QB has already been written about on Prep Redzone Next, but it’s rare air that a seventh-grader earns an All-Region MVP award. The dual-threat Boldin did exactly that this year, as he put it all out there on the field for Waverly Junior High School. The rest of the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC) will have to deal with him for another year, as he continues to standout in Middle Tennessee.

. Just a seventh-grader, Boldin helped Weaverly Junior High School reach the top of the mountain for the second straight year by defeating East Hickman 44-30 in the title game in early October. The talented righty showed off his dual-threat ability throughout the season and was recognized by coaches confernece-wide by being named the Most Valuable Player. Boldin will return next season as the Wildcats are on the prowl for a third straight MTAC crown.
