Really impressed with Cade Boldin’s work yesterday, I believe he notched the fastest 40 of this group too. Out of Waverly Central High School in Tennessee Boldin and his family made the long trip and he made sure he was going to leave his mark.

While he looked liked one of the faster kids on site, Boldin had a lot of good moments in the individual work and 1v1s. Before the Rize event, it appeared that Boldin was on a lot of high profile radars already. He was a future star selection out of Tennessee and when I tweeted out his play I saw a lot of other sites with positive reactions.

Cade Boldin Cade Boldin 5'10" | 161 lbs | QB/DB Waverly Central | 2030 TN is a young quarterback prospect with good size, arm talent and athleticism for his age.

At 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, he hold a well-built frame that helps him establish a strong base and deliver the football with consistent velocity and accuracy. He is an accurate thrower that can fit the ball into tight windows already due to his arm strength and conviction.

While he is a strong athlete, he can step up in the pocket and keep his eyes downfield instead of immediately bailing.

Speaking of the athleticism, he is an excellent runner with legit speed that can make explosive plays happen as both a designed runner and scrambler.

He has a well-rounded skillset that can immediately make an impact at the high school level as he learns how to read a faster and more complex game at the high school level.

EXPECTED ROLE IN 2026: He should compete for the starting quarterback spot immediately and likely win the job.

Cade Boldin Cade Boldin 5'10" | 161 lbs | QB/DB Waverly Central | 2030 TN is an outstanding talent out of the state of Tennessee in the 2030 class and at the quarterback position he has showcased many times his ability to sling the rock where he wants in a very accurate manner and that got him a chance at the “RIZE” in what should be a great showing for Boldin!

Another standout quarterback in the 14U group that showed us some good things on Sunday was the Tennessee Vultures’ QB Cade Boldin. The 2030 passer did a nice job during his reps as they split time with two quarterbacks and has a good early frame to build on at the high school level. His early size allowed him to handle the weather conditions relatively well and put more velocity on his passes to cut through the wind and cold.

The Humphreys County QB has already been written about on Prep Redzone Next, but it’s rare air that a seventh-grader earns an All-Region MVP award. The dual-threat Boldin did exactly that this year, as he put it all out there on the field for Waverly Junior High School. The rest of the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC) will have to deal with him for another year, as he continues to standout in Middle Tennessee.

Another 2030 signal caller that led his team to the second of back-to-back Conference Championships was Humphreys County stud, Cade Boldin Cade Boldin 5'10" | 161 lbs | QB/DB Waverly Central | 2030 TN . Just a seventh-grader, Boldin helped Weaverly Junior High School reach the top of the mountain for the second straight year by defeating East Hickman 44-30 in the title game in early October. The talented righty showed off his dual-threat ability throughout the season and was recognized by coaches confernece-wide by being named the Most Valuable Player. Boldin will return next season as the Wildcats are on the prowl for a third straight MTAC crown.
