Murphy is another wideout who made several plays over the weekend. He is a very good route runner who can create space over every level of the field. He has great get-off and can get great leverage before utilizing his great route-running. He has great hands and can make plays after the catch to turn simple plays into explosive plays. Murphy will blow up on the recruiting scene with his skill set and already holds an offer from Penn State.

Hudl has Murphy’s measurables listed at 5’9, 150 pounds. Ranked a top-five pass-catcher early on. Looked at by the Imhotep coaching staff as one of the more serious weapons on offense. Based on sources, it’s likely that Murphy plays a pivotal part in making the 2025 Imhotep offense run smoothly. Unoffered currently.
Witnessed Murphy score on a couple of occasions while on the sideline of a few Imhotep games this past Fall. I applaud Murphy for earning the trust of the coaching staff, not easy to carve out a roll as a freshman at a loaded program like this one. Love the all-around game Murphy brings to the table. Not a one-trick pony, Murphy proves he can win at all three levels. The freshman can take DBs deep and win on nine routes, he can work screens behind the LOS, posts and curls are options as well, furthering my point of Murphy being a three-level weapon. Would love for some of his slow-mo on tape to be taken out, a small nitpick here. Murphy working with McLeish is an enticing and travel-worthy combination. Expecting big-time production this coming Fall.

Before Murphy even took his first rep as an incoming freshman at Imhotep, I had the feeling he should have been ranked on our initial 2028 PA list. This for two reasons. One, Imhotep coaching brass reached out to let me know he should have been included, this proving to be true by the nights end. Second, Murphy would end up receiving real playing time ahead of other 2028s we liked in the preseason. Murphy would score on a 40 yard bomb from McLeish, a play that would ultimately be overturned via penalty. The penalty didn’t take away from Murphy’s fantastic rep. He’s going to climb up our ranks in no time.

is a legit wide receiver who has exceptional speed. Murphy just runs by defenders on go balls. He can run past them and then make catches for big plays. Murphy also shows a good amount of skill running routes. He has nice balance and body control when he runs his routes. Murphy also shows good hands by catching the ball well. Murphy is a talented 2028 prospect.

– Played both wide receiver and defensive back for the 215 Extreme 13U team down ay AYF Nationals and stood out. If you’re gonna wear jersey no. 0, you better be a dude–and he is
– The 215 Extreme 13U squad saw a ton of talented teams and Murphy was tested earlier and often. I like him a bit more as a corner back at this point, but he should be considered one of the better ATH’s (athlete) in Philadelphia at this point
– Like many of his teammates, he is known throughout the city and has his pick of high school’s. Per his instagram, he has choices down to three schools: St. Joe’s Prep, Roman Catholic and Imhotep
