One of the best 2027 defensive backs I found at the Valley City State prospect camp this past summer was

of Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm. The 6’1 175 pounder from EEK, boosts the great length that gets shown off with his vertical as the senior-to-be logged six interceptions for the Thunder as a dozen pass break ups as well. His best reps in pass coverage pop out on intermediate and deep routes, while Brogan also has the instincts to shutdown opposing receivers when they are in the red zone. He’s got himself a great chance to move into our top 5 DBs in the state upcoming.

. The 6’1 175 pounder is one that impresses me with his ball skills right away when you watch his junior tape, as you can gauge that he has a growing football IQ as a zone corner that can provide relief in the slot on deep routes. Another area that I like from Brogan on tape, is his length as you can tell he used that to his advantage on a consistent basis last season especially around the edges of the field. I really like this young man’s footwork as he transitions well on the fly on splits. He’s a right place, right time type of cornerback that logged six interceptions as a junior and one that I surely feel could be a jumper in this 2027 class.
