The Grinder MVP of the Line of Scrimmage Big Dogs Camp was a name that got on my radar last year and man, did I love seeing how he’s committed and developed in year two as Brody Soma Brody Soma 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB East Ridge | 2027 MN of East Ridge certainly earned the grinder. Ignore what you see positionally on his profile, the translation Brody has made since last March with his athletic profile is something you take a before and after picture for. Working viciously with LOS, Brody showed off violent hands on every rep that blasted thru the point of attack and showed off the agility he now has at his disposal getting off blocks. He’s got a monster motor now and surely has grown as a pass-rusher with the plethora of moves he showed off in Saturday’s sessions. Talk about a 2027 that has risen the heck out of his stock from a year ago.

There is always one prospect at every camp that I wished I would have been able to watch more reps out of, which to me that prospect was linebacker Brody Soma Brody Soma 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB East Ridge | 2027 MN out of East Ridge. Brody was one of the only linebackers in attendance, but one that rocked the boat when it came to his attention to detail at the end of Saturday’s session showing off his finesse with his twitch off the snap, and one that in my eyes showed you he can lay the wood you want at linebacker once he gets downhill to the ball carrier. A 6’1 195 pounder for the Raptors, that I feel has a great upside upcoming and has the body type to grow into the coming years that college coaches are going to want at the next-level as this kid’s football IQ stood out quicky at the end of the LOS Big Dawg Camp.
