Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I work extremely hard on and off the field. I am competitive in everything I do. Tell me I cannot do something and I will prove you wrong. Success on the field starts with hard work in the weight room. I have a school record for my weight class in power clean with 305#. I also back squat 425 and bench 235. My big three total is 965 and my goal is to be in the 1000# club before next season.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the National Honor Society and I volunteer 20 hours a semester.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Teamwork: You have to work cohesively as one on the field to maximize your team’s success
Trust: You have to be able to trust your teammates to do their job so you can focus on yours
Communication: Communication is key to success on and off the field
Resilience: When something goes wrong you have to be able bounce back and move forward
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have been extremely blessed to never have a major injury from football.
What type of college are you looking for?
Small to medium size. Good reputation for education. History of athletic success.
