Brody Helton has been one of the most consistent producers in the state, recently surpassing 4,000 career rushing yards. Running primarily out of the shotgun, Helton’s versatile style allows him to attack defenses in multiple ways. He has the patience to read blocks and cut back when lanes open, but he’s just as comfortable lowering his shoulder and running through defenders between the tackles.
At 5’11” and 215 pounds, Helton combines strength, balance, and vision to wear down defenses over four quarters. He’s the type of back who can carry a heavy workload and still deliver big plays. Add in his impact as a downhill linebacker, and you’ve got one of the most complete two-way players in the region.

The week of 9/15/23, he rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns. The week of 10/6/23 he had ten carries and rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns. The week of 10/14/23, he scored four touchdowns during a playoff game. He ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, and caught two passes for 71 yards and two TDs. His film shows a durable runner with power. Good acceleration, balance and effort. Shows quickness and instincts. He ended the season with 100 carries for a total of 1194 rushing yards and 18 td’s and 8 receptions for 126 yards and 1 TD. His physical measurables ( height & weight) align with Low Div 1 FCS/High D-2/High NAIA running backs.
