was another prolific player on the ground. Ewing rushed for 1,800 yards and 27 touchdowns for the Tigers as another undersized but dynamic athlete. Wirt County could spread the ball out through the air this season, so they weren’t just handing it off to Ewing every play and made the most of every touch he received. Ewing can consistently turn the corner and will find the sideline even on inside runs often. He showed he has the speed to breakaway in the open field at the small school level and can make defenders miss in space too. Ewing is a great D3 prospect who could likely play some safety as well.

has stepped right in at running back for the Tigers this season after they lost multi-year starter Chase Lowe to graduation and the running game hasn’t missed a beat. He’s a much different athlete than Lowe was, but Ewing is still producing at a high level through the first three games of the season. He’s rushed for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns while averaging 10 yards per carry and is a small school running back to know this season.
Ewing is an explosive runner with breakaway speed and quickness who can also run hard between the tackles for tough yards if defenses can get a hand on him. He can turn the corner consistently at the small school level and will win the sideline race often in Class A.

had a huge performance against Magnolia in a week two 48-24 win. Ewing carried the ball 19 times for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns whose speed and quickness were tough to contain for the Blue Eagles. He’s a much different athlete than record-setting 2024 RB Chase Lowe was, but Wirt County appears as if they won’t see any dropoff from his large void with Ewing’s capabilities.
