About Brock

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a Pro Style QB, but also an athlete that can extend plays or gain yards on the ground. I take pride in being an accurate passer with a strong arm and good anticipation. I work best under pressure and want the ball in my hands to get points before half or close out games. I've been blessed to be on a lot of successful teams so I've played a lot under the bright lights.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to be great and I am a hard worker that sets the tone for my team. I'm calm and focused, bringing a positive energy to connect with and elevate my teammates. My Coach said "I've never coached a player that has changed a culture so much, starting on day 1". My dad is also a HS coach who works in college athletics - so I've been around the game and high-level athletes/athletics all my life.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have played, volunteered and helped coach with BRAVE Athletics, a nonprofit organization that builds brave resilient accountable virtuous and enthusiastic young athletes through training and competition. Academically I have made the honor roll every semester and a 4.0 student. I plan to start a fishing club at my high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've played in national/world championship game five different times at high-level tournaments such as the Jr Olympics, NFL Pro Bowl National Championships, and ESPN's Wide World of Sports World Championships. All of these experiences, televised and against such great competition, taught me how to be a leader and handle high-pressure environments.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I changed schools and played on a new football team, which didn't have a winning season the year before. Being a QB I had to work with my new teammates to develop chemistry, earn trust and bring our team together. I'm very proud that went undefeated to become Division Champions of Catholic League and made our first appearance in school history in the CYO Prep Bowl Championship game.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play college football and I am looking for a program that has great coaches and culture. Academically I am interested in working in medical in hope of someday being a Dr.
