Hartmann is one of the more under the radar guys in the central valley and has a nose for the football. He gets downhill quickly, tackles well in space and can knife into the backfield while able to bend and turn the corner. He shows good redirection and can make tackles outside the tackles and moves well sideline to sideline. He is a very high IQ player that can sniff out plays, shock and shed blockers in the box and moves well laterally while showing some cover abilities as well. Hartmann is one of the top ’28 defenders in the central valley and should have a breakout junior season for Clovis and is a candidate to enter into our rankings off the watchlist in the next update.
