About Brinley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Reads offensive formations Calls out adjustments and shifts coverage Controls gap assignments Anticipates plays before they develop Keeps teammates aligned and focused

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Humble, linebacker who leads by communication and example. I believe championships are built on trust, discipline, and every player doing their job.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At Tusky Valley Middle/High School I participate in Football, Basketball, and Track. I have also played in AAU basketball last year. This year I am playing for Velocity 7 on 7 to gain more experience with other coaches in my area. Awards-Middle School doesn't really do awards. I did assist my relay team last year break a school record in 7th grade.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, communication, and accountability. I make sure my teammates are aligned and confident before every snap, and I stay composed in pressure situations. I believe leadership extends beyond football. I strive to positively impact my community and represent my team with character, respect, and humility. I believe success comes from trusting my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was being diagnosed with SCFE at a young age, which required surgery and screws placed in both of my hips. The recovery process tested me physically and mentally. There were moments of frustration, but I learned patience, discipline, and resilience. That experience strengthened my mindset and taught me not to take opportunities for granted.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play football at a Division I college that aligns with both my educational and athletic goals. I want to compete at the highest level while earning a degree that prepares me for long-term success beyond football. Finding a program that challenges me academically, develops me as an athlete, and values leadership and teamwork is important to me.
