Sharing the backfield with a true freshman, Turnage had handled his role nicely as this junior ball carrier is a team 1st guy that does all the small things right. The Cougars running back is a tough runner that won’t go down on first contact while also having enough speed once in the open field to break loose. Turnage is also a solid receiver out of the backfield and a willing blocker. This guy is tough and willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. He may be the flashiest but the Cougs ball carrier is solid and someone that will be important in their efforts on advancing in the 5A playoffs.
