Brian had a very impressive junior season, making 1st team all conference and 2nd team all state. He also led his team in tackles on the year and his name came up a lot when talking with other coaches around the state. A long and lean DE, Brian has a frame the will fill out nicely. He shows a high motor and good burst off the snap. He has the ability to bend the edge, re-direct and get down the line, while also be able to run on his toes and chase down ball carriers. I like how Brian plays with his pads low at the point of attack. He uses a wide array of moves to get off blocks, showing active hands and a strong football IQ. An overall good athlete, he recently posted a 4.8 40 and 9′ broad jump. Brian has a great overall skill set to be a strong edge rush defender. An offer kid to me, I don’t know how he doesn’t have more going for him.
