Brett is an intriguing prospect. Big, long, strong frame who plays how he looks. The big man is able to manhandle TEs and OTs, maintain separation, and then quickly shed and get after the QB. He has the range to chase down the ball and also has the first step quickness that will stress OTs. Brett also offers high quality TE talents too. Another athlete in the Class of 2027 who is just as versatile as he is talented.

Brett is simply one of the top overall talents in the Class of 2027. Especially when you look at the athletes who are still uncommitted. The Shiocton standout plays TE and DE/edge for his team. Standing at 6’5″ 235 lbs, Brett has the elite frame to continue to play either side at the next level. It isn’t just the size. It is the power he has loaded up into that frame. The way he can bull rush or swat down OT arms. The way he can punish defenders after the catch. His ability to stand up OTs on the edge. But then the big man also shows the explosive traits. That effective first step off the snap to rush the edge. The quickness in his release and out of breaks. You can line Brett up all around the offense or defensive trenches and he will impact plays. This is a D1 caliber athlete.

Brett is a fun prospect to watch. He could be considered an edge or TE with the tape he has produced. Brett plays with his hand in the dirt and from a two point stance for Shiocton, and his frame will allow him the ability to do either at the next level. Either way he will be a force on the edge. He wins a lot of reps with pure power. Bull rushing the OT off the line until he gets them off balance and then shedding them. Brett is able to generate so much force out of his stance. Even against the run game you see him set the edge by driving OTs or TEs into the backfield and then disengaging when the RB arrives. He will need time to work on the technique of hand fighting, but you can’t argue against his size, strength, and versatility. No doubt he is one of the best on the edge in WI.

The potential within this kid is off the charts. Brett has an elite frame that is already well filled out and strong. Sometimes with so much power kids will sacrifice fluidity, but that’s not the case here. Brett is smooth off the line and throughout his routes at TE. He isn’t a burner, yet always seems to find the open field. Once he gets the ball in space good luck bringing down the runaway freight train. Brett is a mismatch that should have the FCS level knocking down his down and the FBS level should at least take a good look at him.
On defense Singler demonstrates his dominant strength every snap of his highlights. He always gets hands on and is able to create space while also driving the TE or OT into the backfield. Brett is outstanding at setting the edge and when he reads pass can shuck his OL aside and get after the QB with a nice closing burst. Dive into this monster’s highlights.
