Brayson showed some solid work today off the edge and made his presence felt in a few different moments. He came off the ball with good energy, used his hands well in drills, and showed flashes of being able to disrupt plays when he got into space. As the day went on, he looked more comfortable and started to settle into his technique a bit better. It was a good showing overall and another step in the right direction for him as he continues to develop at the edge spot. Brayson also left with an offer from Texas.

Brayson is an edge rusher with one of the higher ceilings among rising defensive prospects, and his development continues trending in the right direction. He has the physical tools coaches look for at the position — quick first-step explosiveness, length, and the ability to close on the quarterback in a hurry. His motor stands out on film, consistently pursuing plays from sideline to sideline and refusing to quit on a rep.

As a pass rusher, Brayson shows flashes of being able to win with speed off the edge while also using his physicality to set the tone against offensive tackles. He plays aggressive, attacks gaps with confidence, and creates pressure that forces offenses into mistakes. His ability to disrupt plays before they fully develop gives his defense an added playmaker in the front seven.
