Woodbury has a very fun roster going into 2026, and the Royals are home to a promising sophomore CB who comes in within a Top 5 DB debut that is primed for a rankings rise into the Top 50 if we can get some verified numbers on him. A 6A starter at CB as a sophomore, Braylon Ferrara–Uddin has a lot going for him early, and he’s got a ton of good football left in front of him as well. The 5’11 2028er shows off impressive ball skills and is comfortable tracking and playing the deep ball, doing a good job of melting into WRs before timing his jumps out well. He naturally works to undercut WRs and times his breaks on the ball out well, and the short-area quickness and start/stop ability helps him mirror and break with WRs at the top of the route.
Ferrara-Uddin also displays some strength and grit in press-man coverage, the top-speed to run down loose ball carriers as that final backside pursuer, and the ability to break down and tackle bigger ball carriers 1v1 in space. He created tons of production at the catch point last fall. INTs and PBUs galore, on a variety of routes too, as a underclassman, first-year starter in the Minnesota 6A ranks. He dished out a great PBU on a slant from off-man coverage on Jayden Moore and a good PBU breaking on a quick hitch on David Mack David Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | WR Moorhead | 2027 State MN right at the first down marker, just as a couple of examples.
