out of Riverside. That being said, the fanfare isn’t nearly loud enough. I could argue that he’s still too low on our own board.
A meteoric off-season saw offers come in from Minnesota, Syracuse, Wake Forest, and Pitt just to name a few. I would have guessed a young man carrying this H/W combination, coupled with recruiting heat and position versatility, would have been fawned over by National Recruiting media. I think there’s a chance Rose’s recruitment heats back up after his first-three this Fall.

is emerging as one of the most versatile prospects in the Class of 2027, showcasing elite size and athleticism at 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds. Rose primarily lines up at wide receiver, where his length and catch radius make him a constant mismatch for opposing defensive backs. During his football career, he has already proven to be a productive offensive weapon, hauling in 17 receptions for 317 yards and four touchdowns in a previous season for the Vikings. His ability to contribute in multiple ways has also been evident, as he has produced offensive points through rushing, passing, and return opportunities throughout his development. Defensively, Rose plays cornerback, using his size, speed, and instincts to disrupt passing lanes and create problems for opposing receivers. Coaches have praised his versatility and athletic profile, with plans to use him across multiple offensive and defensive roles because of his playmaking ability. Rose’s multi-sport background, including standout performances in basketball and track, further enhances his agility, body control, and overall competitiveness. As he continues to develop physically and refine his skill set, Rose projects as a dynamic two-way contributor capable of impacting games in all phases.

- A new name on our database, this from a tip from Riverside coaches. Guard/Forward on the Riverside Basketball team. 6’4, 180-pound wideout.
- Has done a fantastic job providing media and coaches alike ample tape to break down via Hudl. Already has a six-minute tape up on the site that fully encompasses all of his best reps so far at Riverside. First rep is an intriguing one, you don’t often see a 6’4 basketball prospect, one who is playing QB at that, return his first ever kickoff 90 yards for a score.

did just that. Not as stiff as his build would presume. Rose would repeat this feat on the very next rep on tape. Good acceleration, good stride for a 6’4 prospect. Fills the alley like a missile, surprised to see him have this good of a feel for run support when aligned at safety. Can set the edge when moved into the box, can intercept passes 30+ yards downfield, is a serious threat to gun kids down on special teams, has a few forced fumbles and blocked kicks on tape, too. Reps at QB are just icing on the cake, this is a serious talent hidden over at Riverside, one who I’d love to see in person, in-game setting or camp. Rose will rank well among 2027 prospects.
