About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a dual-threat QB who looks to lead by example and do whatever it takes to help the team win. Whether it's making plays through the air or on the ground, I stay focused on executing the game plan and putting my teammates in the best position to succeed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a confident and driven leader who leads by example on and off the field. I stay composed under pressure, motivate my teammates, and always prioritize the team’s success above all else.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in offseason training programs with B12 Performance and Calloway Athletics to improve my skills and stay in peak condition year-round.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my training and team experiences, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve learned the importance of communication, staying disciplined, and supporting others to achieve collective goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last season, I suffered an injury that caused me to miss half the season. It was a tough mental challenge, but I stayed focused on my recovery, worked hard, and came back stronger both physically and mentally. The experience taught me resilience and reinforced my commitment to the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for colleges that have a strong football program where I can compete and continue developing as a dual-threat QB. I want a team-oriented environment with coaches who prioritize player development and academics. It’s important to me to be part of a program that values hard work, leadership, and building a winning culture.

A lot to like about Paulino’s skillset as a dual-threat QB. Not the biggest QB at 5’9” 150 lbs. but he’s got time to grow and makes up for it with his athletic ability. Throws a good catchable ball with touch, like his ability to throw the deep ball with accuracy. Does a good job putting the ball in a spot that only his receiver can get to while hitting them in stride allowing them to run after the catch. Plus pocket mobility to feel and escape pressure. Uses his athleticism well to extend the play while keeping his eyes downfield for an open target. Also shows he can stand in the pocket and deliver with a defender in his face. Dangerous running threat when he tucks it, he’s elusive and can make defenders miss in the open field. He’s a competitor that has a good foundational skillset to build on as he develops.
