is one of the state’s best linebackers and he’s going to go into this season looking to leave no doubt. Knox is going to lead a defense that brings back everybody from last season. He was their leading tackler with 100 tackles on the season and he was an absolute nightmare for opposing offenses to deal with. He finished the year with 14 tackles for loss and also led the team with nine sacks on the season. As he goes into his senior season, it wouldn’t surprise us at all to see him elevate his game to another level. Earlier this month, Knox announced his commitment to Tulsa after being recruited by multiple D1 programs.

checks just about every box that you want from the linebacker position. Knox emerged as a prospect to watch in the state’s 2024 class following his sophomore season and his recruitment has been very steady ever since. He’s a prospect that will end up at the next level and we’re looking forward to where that ends up being. He’s going to have options as he’s been offered by multiple programs and it’s easy to see why when you throw on the film. Knox is in a similar physical mold to James where he immediately passes the eye test as soon as he steps on the field. He stood out to us in person at our camp earlier this year and is primed for a big 2024 season.

has been a 2025 prospect that has flown under the radar across the state but that shouldn’t be the case moving forward to the spring and summer months. First off, look at the film and the stats and you see that Knox has been incredibly productive for the Pirates over the last few seasons. Colleges have also taken notice and have extended offers to the Putnam City standout. We got a chance to see Knox up close and personal at our camp in January and he immediately passed the eye test. He was the most physically impressive linebacker in attendance and we can see what college coaches are noticing.

came to the camp in Broken Arrow and competed very well. Knox is already on the radar across the state as a prospect for the next level. He was offered by Tulsa last month and that could be just the tip of the iceberg. You watch Knox move around in person and when you combine that with his size, you see what the hype is all about. There is a lot of potential with Knox moving forward. As far as the drills and the competition, Knox was right there with the other linebackers. But it’s what Knox could be as he continues to develop his skills. What he’ll be at this time next year is going to be completely different from what we saw Sunday. The camp series theme is “Stock Up” and Knox is just that. Buy stock now.
