Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Braxton brings a sudden, high energy element to the offense with how quickly he gets in and out of his movements. He shows burst off the line and does a good job snapping routes with sharp footwork, making it tough for defenders to stay in phase. His hands are quick and natural, allowing him to secure the ball without breaking stride. Once the catch is made, he accelerates immediately and looks to turn short gains into explosive plays. He plays with confidence and edge, competing on every rep and staying active regardless of whether the ball is coming his way. Braxton’s quickness and play speed make him a constant matchup challenge.

Out of anyone else who earned a National Watchlist spot at the Texas camp, Wambach did it with grunt work. He established himself, to me anyway, as an ideal slot Wide Receiver who plays fearlessly and should become a favorite target in the short to intermediate passing game.

-Earned himself a spot on the 2027 National Watch List with a great performance at the camp. He was impressive even with an extremely deep group of Wide Receivers
-Very well-put together athlete with rounded, capped shoulders and strong hands. He was able to reel in some tough balls in traffic and also pull in a couple errant passes with just his finger trips
-Despite measuring in a little shorter than anticipated (officially 5-foot-10 and 170-pounds), it made him a slam dunk as a Slot. Explodes out of his stance and runs phenomenal short-to-mid routes with lively suddenness in and out of his breaks
