Brandon is ranked as our sixth Tight End but he can be used in multiple positions across an offensive formation from an in-line Tight End, split out, or in the backfield. He displays good receiving skills, showing solid route running on all levels with a knack for finding the open space in coverage to provide an easy target for the QB. His film shows good ability to adjust to throws outside of his frame showing hip fluidity to turn his body and length in his arms to reach out and secure the catch. As a ball carrier, he is elusive with good vision to weave through defenders. His very good competitive toughness shows in his blocking as his film shows him blocking through the whistle, and he will look to make additional blocks downfield after he finishes his assigned block. Shows good bend and solid explosiveness in his Gap blocks with good leg drive, turning the defender out of the hole. He has the athleticism to Reach and Combo block in the Zone scheme where his ability to sustain multiple blocks downfield shows.
