, an emerging tight end from Loomis Chaffee, Connecticut, has made significant strides during the 2025 season, enhancing his recruitment profile. Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 230 lbs, McCloud showcases a unique blend of size and athleticism. His soft hands and ability to high point the ball in traffic make him a potent target in the passing game. He excels at stretching the field vertically and poses a consistent threat after the catch.
While his offensive prowess is evident, there are areas for improvement, particularly in his blocking skills for run schemes. Additionally, increasing his speed and height will further boost his appeal to college coaches seeking versatile tight ends. To maximize his potential, McCloud should engage in off-season speed and receiving training. With continued growth and development, he has the opportunity to improve his projected college grade significantly in the coming seasons. McCloud’s trajectory remains one to watch as he refines his skills and hones his game.
