Lynch was called the unsung hero of the defense by Union County coaches after leading the team in sacks a year ago. Long term, a projection as a nickel would make the most sense given his size and play style. Regardless, this is a true run-and-chase defender who urgently flies to the football and has the skills to execute and finish at the point of attack. Lynch is the type of player who buys HS programs wins.

Don’t let the size of this small-town athlete fool you. Lynch is a natural on the field with an impressive feel for the game. He’s a max-effort defender on defense who also gives tremendous effort on special teams. His frame won’t impress many, but his instincts and ability to make a secure tackle will. As a junior last season the Union County standout made 65 total tackles, 12 TFLs, two sacks and one pick-six. He’s one of the more productive returning defenders in the area who should have an even bigger senior season in 2026. Lik many others, he’ll be added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings that will come out in March.
