About Brandon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dual threat, eyes consistently down the field going through progressions. understanding how to move the ball positively without turnovers.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I trust myself because of the work I've put in so far in my career, I believe in my teammates until they show otherwise. very focused and goal driven

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

honor roll for most of my school years, i always help out in the community but when they give awards I usually don't go. I didn't do it for an award. I live here

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned empathy, but also the ability to lead with intensity

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family has put me in a couple different situations sport wise that were challenging, but I live a good life I haven't had life's challenges yet. THANK GOD. I've had qb battles, tournament battles things like that.

What type of college are you looking for?

looking for a place I can play and grow with my OC and teammates. I am unsure of my possible major but in time it will come together

Davis is a multifaceted quarterback under center for Cedar Grove, showing that he has the athleticism to be involved in the run game and the fast processing to dissect a defense with his arm. He knows who the primary read is in passing concepts and RPOs, and shows that understanding of where the throwing window lane will be. His release is efficient and wastes no time transitioning from the mesh to his release to hit receivers in stride. This same quick processing can be seen in the run game, reading defenders off of zone and power read. Not only do his legs pose an additional threat to defenses in the run game, but they also help him to climb the pocket and extend plays in pass progressions.

  • As of September 2024, there is no updated verified height and weight for Davis II. As of June 2024, his height was listed at 5-foot-6
  • As a 7th grader last season, he led Cedar Grove Middle School to a DeKalb County championship. Picking up MVP honors in the game with 150 passing yards and a TD, in addition to a touchdown on the ground
  • This season Davis II is serving as QB1 of the Lawrenceville Black Knights. While his (presumed) physical measurables aren’t on par with many of the other QBs on this initial list, his ability speaks for itself. Combining his resume with what is evident on film, he has a ton of skill, but his size will factor in to how far he goes
