Brandon Birdsong is a big-time playmaker. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back and defensive back has home-run threat ability. He has outstanding vision, burst, breakaway speed and has plenty of juice to take the ball to the house. Picking up recently an offer from Central State, the Mason High School Class of 2027 prospect had 96 carries for 545 yards and five rushing touchdowns last season, and had a great day through the air, catching 18 passes for 207 yards and two receiving touchdowns. He started in all 10 games last season.

Birdsong is another I’ve seen for a few years now and I’ve enjoyed watching his physical development. At 5’10 180 he has a well put together frame. He showed off a strong burst and lateral movement skills. As a runner he’s very fluid and he looked great in the 40. Brandon can definitely play at the next level. I definitely think he can show that this summer at college camps.

Good multi-purpose running back who is a threat both in the passing game as well as on the ground. Good runner with proven speed; clocked a 4.54 40-time at Miami-OH mega camp. Strong academic prospect with good vision, burst and change-of-direction. Really like his potential.
