This kid has become a serious Swiss Army knife for the D-D offense and defense. Braedyn is all over the field. RB, WR, DB, the dude does it all and produces at every spot. This week we saw him tote the rock 20 times, providing an explosive presence to balance the physical running of Kevin O’Grady. His ability to cut and juke through traffic, and burst through small seams of daylight stood out all night long. I was also really impressed by his fearlessness at CB. He was quick to close and make open field tackles. The 5’8″ 140 lbs senior wasn’t afraid to throw his body around and make some big hits in the open field. I was most impressed by his defensive back play, showing range, great awareness and playmaking traits, and ball skills. Give the tape from the night a watch and come get yourself a difference maker.

Joining Garbe out wide is slot WR Braedyn McKean Braedyn McKean 5'8" | 140 lbs | WR Delavan-Darien | 2027 State WI . McKean dominates underneath. He is so quick to get open and give his QB an easy target. After the catch he is lightning quick. The rising senior also is a big time contributor on the defensive side of things. It is so rare to see a trio like D-D has returning to the field. I can’t wait to watch the numbers pile up, and the Ws.

The other go to target for the D-D offense is Braedyn McKean Braedyn McKean 5'8" | 140 lbs | WR Delavan-Darien | 2027 State WI . It is crazy to see two 1,000 yard receivers from the same team and even more impressive to see that both still have another year ahead of them at the HS level. Braedyn is the slot receiver type with his compact built, twitchy route running, and elusive run after the catch. Braedyn does a ton of damage after the catch, turning underneath catches into huge runs after the catch. The D-D offense has the QB, outside threat, and inside/underneath threat all returning in 2026. Big things ahead for this group.

The Delavan- Darien passing attack has been one of the best in the state this fall and Braedyn has played a big role in that success. It was clear the defense respected his speed as he had huge cushions off the line. The only problem with that is if you give McKean an inch he has the wiggle and burst of acceleration to turn any catch into a huge gain. That happened multiple times in Week 4 as he knifed through secondaries. The junior WR is an extremely elusive runner after the catch. Get this riser on your radars for the Class of 2027.
