Walker is a prospect with a fast get-off and a lot of agility. He’s another recruit with size and a good frame. He’s legitimately 6’3, 245-250 lbs, with good hand violence. He has the build of an effective 5-technique with body control. He especially looked good flipping his hips on edge pass rushing. Walker competed hard during one-on-ones and got a couple of Ws. Walker has one offer from Clarion and is on some D1 programs’ radar.

Hell of a mid-season tape from Braeden Walker. Watched some of the games posted after his mid-season and was equally impressed. Alignment capabilities range from DE to multi-gap DT. 6’2, and a good 250 pounds, Walker can be trusted to punish both weaker and slower linemen who cannot counter the power he brings to the table. I see plenty of interior linemen that are closer to the athletic side of the DL spectrum, nice to see someone this size win with sheer power. The key to this kid’s recruitment skyrocketing is his ability to become more than a one-dimensional winner. He’s already beginning to flash it. Excited to see his final senior tape when it drops.
