Listed at 5’7”, 154 pounds, Zimmerman plays bigger than his frame with toughness and confidence. He burst onto the scene at the linebacker position by consistently making splash plays and showing strong football instincts. At the showcase, he stood out with elite tackling form and the ability to secure ball carriers in open space. Zimmerman plays under control and rarely wastes movement when closing on the football. During one-on-one competitions, he welcomed the challenge of covering the fastest wide receivers in attendance. His lateral quickness and change of direction allowed him to stay in phase and compete rep after rep. He showed strong awareness and discipline in coverage situations. Zimmerman’s performance reinforced his versatility as a modern outside linebacker. He is a high-motor defender whose stock continues to rise with every opportunity.

Brady Zimmerman Brady Zimmerman 5'7" | 154 lbs | LB/ATH Northwestern Lehigh | 2027 State PA and Mason Bollinger Mason Bollinger 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR/ATH Northwestern Lehigh | 2026 State PA are a good 1-2 punch as wide receivers and running the ball. Brady Zimmerson is a playmaker as a runner and as a receiver. His ability to make defenders miss as a runner and receiver is excellent, as he is a good athlete. He has a good quickness and burst that you like to see from slot receivers. He also plays at a high level as an outside linebacker. On both sides of the ball, Zimmerman will need to be at his best against Avonworth.

A NWL sophomore currently on our watch list. 5’7, 150 pounds. Is a three-sport athlete, participating on the court and diamond as well as the turf. Zimmerman didn’t have tape on Hudl prior to this season, the main reason he’s been left out of our rankings updates in the past. He’s on schedule to place thanks to a lengthy 10-minute sophomore tape. Love to see Zimmerman earn all that was given to him this year, tough to carve out a serious role on a Title contending program as an underclassmen. He did just that.

What Avonworth should expect…

NWL likes to deploy three down linemen, three backers with one OLB working down to the LOS, working off the edge with his hand off the dirt. Two stout backers man the other two LB spots. Occasionally, a testament to his toughness, NWL will have Brady Zimmerman Brady Zimmerman 5'7" | 154 lbs | LB/ATH Northwestern Lehigh | 2027 State PA creep into the front-seven, almost serving as an additional linebacker. He’s 5’7, 150 pounds soaking wet, yet his infusion of speed and lateral quickness seems to throw off linemen who aren’t expecting such a slippery defender to be working in the trenches. The Avonworth OL unit has to stay on their toes and treat this undersized prospect as if he were the size of Matson or Hulmes. His low center of gravity and good tackling form make up for any size deficiencies.
